The history of GÖCKENER

April 2000

Foundation of the GÖCKENER GMBH by taking over the Nünning GmbH with an annual turnover of approx. 1.600.000,- DM = 800.000,- € with approx. 15 employees on approx. 1.500m².

January 2002

Start of the 3M compress production by relocation from 3M Borken to GÖCKENER - Wüllen

November 2002

Relocation of the production site of GÖCKENER GMBH from Wüllen to Ahaus in newly built production and storage halls with approx. 2,200 m² and a new administration building with approx. 350 m². Total area approx. 8.500 m²

October 2006

Expansion of the production area by approx. 630 m² for the manufacture of cosmetic products and packaging for the beverage industry. Clean room with 5-fold filtered air exchange/h and overpressure. Heating and cooling via geothermal energy.

October 2007

Acquisition of a neighbouring plot of land of approx. 2,000 m² and extension of the storage area by approx. 1,500 m² with loading station for trucks

November 2011

Acquisition of the neighbouring plot of land for possible extensions. Approx. 6.000 m²

May 2015

Initiation of the takeover of a production line for the manufacture of polyurethane products such as protectors, shoe insoles, PU horseshoes, anti-decubitus, products for the printing industry, etc. Completion of the takeover and relocation of machinery November 2016.

September 2018

Expansion of the production area and storage volume to approx. 2000 pallet places. Annual turnover approx. 5.000.000,- EUR.

March 2019

Construction of new social and recreation rooms and a conference room
